Rufus. Hand painted ornament ©Shelly Burden
This adorable boy is the pet of Tom & Anne's good friend in PA. Kudo's to Anne for her diligence in getting a pic of the camera shy Rufus, she caught him surveying all out the window, providing a sweet image that shares a little pink in the ear, his eyebrow tufts & intent gaze.

This little gal is from Maryland, the keepsakes for Anne's sister.

When ordering their gifts Tom & Anne requested 2 of this cutie, knowing the ornaments would be as similar as possible but being hand painted wouldn't be identical. But what holds true for both is Sadie's wide eyed look of trust and adoration.

With Zoey's curious & approachable, yet intent look, this painting truly tells it's own story.
A gift for Coezette's (I'm told) "hard to buy for" hubby, of his curious girl dog.
What a beauty!

Coezette wrote: "Looks fantastic!!! I forgot how good you are!"

"Velvet came into my life at a very interesting time. She traveled all over with me being a lost soul. Now she has cancer and has been fighting it for almost 4 years. She's my best friend and the love of my life. Without her I wouldn't be who I am. She's stubborn and full of piss and vinegar and I wouldn't want it any other way." Kristen

Kristen also wrote: "I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you, you did an amazing job.I can't begin to imagine how to thank you for the amazing picture of Velvet you did. You captured every bit of what she is. Thank you so much!"
"Maggie is 2 1/2 years old. She's a big 110 lb Mamma's girl. Follows me everywhere.
Nala is the puppy. She has the sweetest personality. Runs around chasing Maggie, begging her to play. It's so cute! She's 5 months old. They're both very big snuggle bunnies!" Stacey

(Inquiries always welcomed)

Kind hearted Stacey wrote: "We love them! I've already showed them off! They're beautiful! You captured Maggie & Nala's personalities perfectly! They made me giggle as soon as I opened them. Thank you so much!"

Not Stacey's pet, but an image with special meaning for her family. She wrote: "Oh my goodness...That lion is beautiful! I would love to give one to the kids school for their "Lion" tree.  Our mascot is the lion which represents courage."

Courage. I love the symbolism, don't you? I was so glad my lion made it's way to Stacey's home, and having too been caught playing the 1 for you, 1 for me game, equally pleased to paint another for her gift.
